Some baseball fans have brains fulla stats, others have the stats and a passion for a particular player. If you let one loose on wikipedia or You Tube, they might just plug in some slanted information. Trying to decipher my babble can be difficult-I have a tendency to free-associate and speak in om Omniswahili.

I don't need to watch a video when I understand the mechanics of the delivery and the reasons why some chose to express a mundane and simplified world view by letting some talking head they identify with through years of detrimental and unhealthy programming do it for them. The constant posting of news clips and editorials that tend to all say the same goddamn thing, is a redundant, unrealistic, uninspiring, and uncreative way of expressing one's point.
I DON'T NEED TO BE CONSTANTLY HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH A POINT TO GET THE GYST! This describes the loop that some are in. A loop is a rut, a loop is a broken record, a loop takes you back to the same place over and over, and its a form of exhibitionism I detest. You see nothing but the "ravings of a retarded douchebag, because that is HOW YOU CHOSE TO REACT. I respond to bullshit as I see it with a similar methodology. My story does not change. Like a pitcher who has a particular set of strengths and styles of delivery, he rolls with what is handed him. Some batters are very predictable and can't adapt. I am lazy when it comes to trying to teach someone who is unresponsive sometimes, but I never tire in reminding the same over and over, with a view to finding some mutual understanding.

I offer a rebuttal in the form of a response to your allegations and observations on this post. I am through with trying to enlighten folks through the limitations of the written word.
Those who have figured me out on this site are allies, those who refuse to try to understand continue to, to their detriment and frustration. The same people who would see me gone forever are the same who find it most comfortable in a room full of people who process and dispense information in a similar manner.
I could use charts and graphs and examples but why bother? What will it profit me to change anyone's mind about a particular issue....My issue is about PROCESS and the filters otherwise reasonable people use because of the way they have been programmed.
You may believe me, that in the real world, I am an incredible humanitarian and lover of diversity. I love "humans", just hate the way most are "being"....the majority are incredibly gullible, controlled, meat robots with no stake in or say over their environment or their livelihoods, evidenced here on VS, by save but a very few. The few that won't write, well, I appreciate them all the more when they do.
I thank you for the constructive critique, and you are right. I do tend to overstate my opinion in way too many or too few course words. My opinion on the matter of Rachel Maddow regardless of the particular spew she is engaged in??? She represents a most reprehensible outlet for information/diversion/control. I pity the masses for settling for such bullshit cloaked as valuable information. I pity her for selling out to the Machina Babylonica.

Ya know, choggie, if you bothered to take two seconds to state your opinion in a clear and concise manner, people might be enlightened. We see in the post above that you can write meaningful sentences if you choose to, which makes the other garbage all the more despicable.

I'm the first to admit that at times after re-reading some of my rants comes the feint odour of feminine products. I don't always speak in 3rd mate-I do tend to, on a thread that's another thematic circle-jerk like the last, and they usually involve pollitics.
Y'see, it is my unbiased observation that what most people think they know regarding how the socio-political minkfuck we have to suffer as cattle, is twisted train metal. People who are convinced they have a clue, given limited, false, or useless information bother me the most. Mind you, that's MOST people. There is no efficient way to determine the veracity of sources, content. NO WAY in the current paradigm. When something can be verified and is determined to be true, once the information has been confirmed and digested by the average joe, joe then realizes(or should realize) that the only power he has with which to respond is non-existent or ineffectual.
The talking heads are forced by their masters to perform a task; disseminating information that has been tampered with-edited to deliver a way of thinking-designed to keep the thoughtful watchers in a state of delusion and fear-structured not to deliver information profitable, wholesome, valuable or hopeful, but to keep the monkeys thinking they have a clue, and working hard at their jobbies so the machine keeps running perfectly for those who have created the nightmare we know, as modern society.
The machine is broken for all but those who run the show. You buy a new washing machine if the one you own fails to get stains off yer clothes.....don't editorialize, reminisce, or fantasize about the perfect world of working washing machines-Do this and continue to stink and look like shit when you leave the house.
I envision a world where in a brilliant flash of clear light, the entire planet's population creates an enormous "POP!".....the sound of everyone pulling their head out of each others' asses in a single moment.

You're letting on that your online self is different from your IRL self, and everyone who uses forums/boards/sites/MMO games can understand the distinction between their "characters" and themselves. It's a nod to the fabrication that we all allow to exist. "This is me, but it isn't. <wink wink>"
If you're talking about you, yourself in the third person, then it just comes off as douchery. It's like you're putting your personality on a pedestal, and then asking, as a writer of a story might ask, what would this character do? "Well, choggie just doesn't do <blank>." It puts off the appearance of a calculation of message for maximum impact. You're going to say what you think choggie would say.
And in the end, isn't that just what you're accusing the talking heads of doing?

I am not sure? What else is there to say about a choice to use or to not use a literary device when one feels so inclined? I offer a rebuttal to the pitchfork and torch crowd back on that lame news post (#9824735) which ,trumpeting the obvious and restating it ad-infinitum for what reasons beyond tree-pissing and clique-stroking, I would like to be able to stomach.
