Well, for the record all the level scales in DA have caps. They all fall within a certain range (Which Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul does to some extend too), vanilla Oblivion scaled with you all the way through.
That's interesting. It would explain why, if you just go stubbornly down in one direction from the outset, you eventually run into stuff that's just out of your league. If by chance the first place you go is to fight the god damn dragon on the mountain, his difficulty isn't going to scale down to your crappy equipment and skills.
I sort of like it, even if it means I have to go back to certain areas later. In Oblivion, you got the sense that armor just gets progressively prettier, and monsters get larger, but behind that it's all calculated to be of a bland unchanging difficulty.
Couple Arrested for Not Paying Tip
gra⋅tu⋅i⋅ty

2. something given without claim or demand.
Sidney the Baby Otter Playing Around
Does this mean I can have a pet otter now??
Apparently the person who posted this works for Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California. So I'm afraid you're only allowed to have a pet otter if you're willing to teach him circus tricks and charge admission. Otherwise it would be cruel.
Shiny Suds are Naughty
Hilarious! Not sure what the point exactly was, but funny.
You have to take your eyes off the naked lady to discover what the point is. I'm not sure either, but I know it's words.

Best possible Tauntaun costume ever
So, the legs are fake, but are the arms on the reigns fake too? Where is his waist? I wish there were a standing person in there for comparison.
The tricky part is that he's on stilts, that's the creaking noise. As for his arms, I'm not sure, but I'd guess the jockey's arms are fake, and that his actual arms are inside the costume helping to hold it up, so that the whole weight isn't on his shoulders.

Godless Billboard Moved After Threats
There's a billboard near where I live (Southern USA) which consists of two "word bubbles" - one coming up from the bottom being answered by one coming down from above. They read "Dear God, please send us someone who can cure AIDS," answered by "I did, but you aborted him."
It's been up for years.
Followed up by "Gee god, how did you not see that one coming?"
Neil deGrasse Tyson on CNN's Connect The World
Love Neil, but why does he even deem this worthy of a response. This is just more idiocy on CNNs part by giving it airtime... Might as well give airtime to the crazy homeless guy outside my building that is yelling about lizard people running the country.
I guess if 10% of the nation were concerned with lizard people, it would be news. One of the things I like about Tyson is that he engages the ignorant with humor and good will. And doesn't think it's beneath him to educate those who need it the most.

Rachel Maddow: Buyer's Remorse
I -do- believe his claim that his core beliefs don't change. He's always believed in selling influence, and sees nothing wrong with it...that much is clear.
For that reason alone, and completely ignoring the fact that the rest of his record only supports this conclusion, in no way should he be allowed into a position of power.
You may be right. But we have a system which, by it's nature, weeds out anyone who is unwilling to sell their influence. You can't run a successful congressional campaign without large corporate donors. And corporations are not stupid enough to make investments that will never pay off.
I suppose the scandal here is that by setting up that foundation it looks like he's gone beyond taking campaign donations to taking more direct bribes.
