What is that sound? My cats occasionally do that to me and if I answer in type, we can keep a rapport going for ages. It's a very relaxed, conversational thing, but what it means I don't know - it's certainly not when they want something, they have a very definite sound for that.

I'm with you evilsponge. I always loved cats as a kid. Then I grew up and got pregnant and realised gardening was no longer safe, with the amount of toxoplasmosis-laden cat-shit embedded in amongst my tomato plants every day. Then if we ever forgot to put the cover on the sandpit, gross!
